Provo 21, Timpanogos 2
1st regular season game - at home
7:00 pm
Commentary:
The bulldog defense was in fine form all night long. During the first half it was all defense from both Provo and Timpanogos - I was beginning to wonder at one point if anyone would score during the game, and then Taylor King intercepted a pass and ran it back about 30 yards near the end of the second half and the bulldogs were fired up! From that point on, things started to click and Provo came out on top in a fantastic win with a final score of 20-2.
The bulldog defense held Timpanogos to 102 yards and no offensive points, that's right a defensive shutout!
Offensively we saw great things from Warner Jarman, Austin Alder, David Ojuka with increasing support from the O-Line this week.
Defensively we saw great things from the whole squad with awesome performances by Taylor King, Jake Larsen, Jake Trammell, Jordan Trammell and Ryan Laws. Again - the line is really stepping up and we're seeing perhaps the best defense in the state.
